Curvismo is the noun and adjective with which Joao defines his work, which covers topics as diverse as his influences: Caravaggio, Velázquez, Bosch and Goya, Tamara de Lempicka, Tom Waits, Jack Kerouac, Miro, Tamayo, Diego Rivera or Keith Richards, being those which are summarized shaping and defining a dream world where anything is possible and the only rule is the movement that created the curves and these in turn give life to many different actors, from mythological beings as the mermaid, unicorn, giant, the dwarf, the gnome and the satyr, to images and characters that have no justification other than the imagination, sensuality, humor and even disappointment.
Quiroz\'s work, such as all the paintings are best explained by itself, every picture speaks for itself and more than a study or an explanation requires a look, a moment alone with your eyes and mind viewer.
